Social Prosperity drive, February - June 2017.
Our Social Prosperity drive was a huge success in 2016. We proudly donated thousands of dollars to various charities throughout the year. Our final charity for the year was Heart Lung Transplant Trust - to which TMFG made a ‘hearty’ $900 donation, bringing our tally to a total of $4495 offered by TMFG to charities in the past 6 months.
These charities are hand picked by TMFG because of their relevance to one or more of our staff or community of clients, which makes these achievements even more valuable.
We are now ready to re - commence our Social Prosperity drive again this month with our favourite organisations being supported over the coming year.
In the months of February, March, April, May & June TMFG will donate $150 from every client Home or Business Loan settled – all funds raised will be distributed equally across each of the following organisations.
- Bourke Street Fund
- OZ Harvest
- Bowel Cancer Australia
- MND
While we at TMFG see none of these charities as more important than the next, we'd like to make particular mention of the very special Bourke Street Fund set up recently for those families affected by the recent tragedy in our beautiful home city, Melbourne.
The Victorian Government has pledged an initial $100,000 to the families of victims and have opened The Bourke Street Fund to anyone who wishes to donate privately. Naturally, TMFG have chosen to support this fund as part of our Social Prosperity drive for 2017. Because we love our city, and believe the people are what makes a city amazing, so it's only natural to support those in crisis.
